Principal's Message

Welcome to Bishop McNally High School, where the individual learning needs of each student are respected and supported and where our Catholic faith permeates the school in word and in action.  Bishop McNally recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and is in the heart of northeast Calgary where students and staff are not only part of a high school but part of a family and a community. We have a school population of approximately 1400 students in grades 10 through 12.

At Bishop McNally we celebrate the beauty of our multiculturally diverse and inclusive student body, and ultimately, the success of our graduates who have gone on to become engineers, doctors, politicians, professional athletes, actors, musicians, chefs and tradespeople.  The combination of our state-of-the-art facilities, diverse program offerings and committed staff, provide students with an environment that can meet all students’ learning, extra-curricular, social and spiritual needs. Our motto:  #WeBleedTeal reflects the strong sense of community, found in Timberwolf Nation, all working together for the success of each individual.

Bishop McNally is a school and community committed to providing a safe, responsive and positive school environment. We offer rigorous and challenging academic programs such as Advanced Placement, Spanish Bilingual and Extended French Programs, which all strengthen a student’s preparedness for university, college, the trades and workplace.  Furthermore, Bishop McNally is arguably Calgary Catholic’s finest, architecturally designed school with its flagship-feature, Main Street, along with many technologically advanced labs, gymnasia and fine arts centres to support success for all of our students.  The face of learning is continuously evolving and so too are students and graduates of Bishop McNally High School.
